Contributors pay your paybill quoting the drive code, and the contribution lands against the open round. Anything the reference does not match waits in a queue until a person places it — never guessed at, never dropped.

A ledger nobody can edit

Contributions are append-only. A correction is a reversal with a reason attached, so every total is arithmetic over the trail rather than a number someone typed over.

Promises kept apart from money

A pledge is not a payment. Track both, and see what share of each round’s pledges actually converted — with over-payment reported separately, so it cannot flatter the rate.
